Report on the Spring Show
The Horsham Horticultural Society held their Spring show on Sunday 10th April. There were a lot of lovely exhibits including a number of daffodils that luckily had survived the rain, wind and the recent cold weather.
The Cup winners were as follows.
Jubilee Cup. Mrs. Sally Birchmore. – Stanley Cup. Dennis Collins – Irene Crackston Cup Alison Best- Dufour – Spring Floral Cup Paul Dalby – Secretary’s Cup Mrs Sue Hammond – Woods Mill cup Andrew Latham – Domestic Trophy Mrs Sue Hammond – Butchers Trophy Mrs Sue Hammond – Reg Smith Cup Robert Hardwick – Weald Cup Mrs. Sue Hammond.
The Show organisers were very pleased with the number of exhibits put in the show by 21 society members A good number of people attended in the afternoon for viewing, and enjoyed a cup of tea and cake. This was our first Spring show since 2019.
