Horsham Horticultural Society was founded in 1945 to promote an interest in horticulture and to encourage gardening in Horsham and the surrounding district. We hold meetings over the winter months from October to March starting at 7:30. For full details visit our Winter Meetings 2026- 2027 page.

Our next meeting will be the first of our evening visits on 19th May when we will be visiting Parsonage Farm in Kirdford. For full details click on Summer Evening Visits 2026 in the menu.
We held our Spring Plant & Flower Show on 29th March 2026 and it was one of our most successful to date. Full details of cup winners and pictures will be posted in due course.
On 10th March we hosted the Inter Society Quiz. We were joined this year by Mannings Heath and Henfield Horticultural Societies. Horsham won the cup this year but it was a very closely run final with Horsham winning by just half a point! Well done to all who took part.

At the quiz night we also awarded the 2026 Jubilee Cup and this year’s winner was Lynn Roberts – well done Lynn. (Pictures on the Jubilee Cup page in the menu)
On 25th November we had a very enjoyable talk from Nir Halfon on Biodynamics regarding lunar and planetary cycles influencing plant growth. Nir asked if anyone was interested in joining an experiment for The Biodynamic Association. Please click on link below for more information.
