Horsham Horticultural Society was founded in 1945 to promote an interest in horticulture and to encourage gardening in Horsham and the surrounding district. We hold meetings over the winter months from October to March starting at 7:30. For full details visit our Winter Meetings 2026- 2027 page.

Despite the extremely hot weather we had a very interesting guided tour around Daylands Farm which is part of the Wiston Estate. The tenant farmer Mr Derek Crush had a wealth of information and experience and has been farming there for over forty years.
Our next summer evening visit, on Tuesday 7th July, will be slightly different to usual as it will be held in the Baptist Church Hall. Our own David Hide will be giving us a talk on snowdrops – how and where to plant and also how to propagate them. For full details click on Summer Evening Visits 2026 in the menu.
We held our Spring Plant & Flower Show on 29th March 2026 and it was one of our most successful to date. Full details of cup winners and pictures can be found in the menu under Spring Show

At the end of last year we had a very enjoyable talk from Nir Halfon on Biodynamics which relates to lunar and planetary cycles influencing plant growth.
