About us
Horsham Horticultural Society was founded in 1945 to promote an interest in horticulture and to encourage gardening in Horsham and the surrounding district. We hold meetings over the winter months from October to March starting at 7:30. For full details visit our Winter Meetings 2026- 2027 page.

We had a very informative talk on Tuesday 7th July from David Hide on snowdrops – how and where to plant and also how to propagate them. We are all hoping for a bumper crop in January.

We held our Spring Plant & Flower Show on 29th March 2026 and it was one of our most successful to date. Full details of cup winners and pictures can be found in the menu under Spring Show
At the end of last year we had a very enjoyable talk from Nir Halfon on Biodynamics which relates to lunar and planetary cycles influencing plant growth.
