About us
Horsham Horticultural Society was founded in 1945 to promote an interest in horticulture and to encourage gardening in Horsham and the surrounding district. We hold meetings over the winter months from October to March starting at 7:30. For full details visit our Winter Meetings 2026- 2027 page.

Our 2026 – 2027 Winter Meetings Program is now available in the menu under Winter Meetings.

We receive occasional emails from local residents regarding websites they have created to help local gardeners. If these seem to be of interest we put them in Local Links which can be found in our menu.
As we approached the fifth heatwave of the year, and with the continuing drought, the Committee of Horsham Horticultural Society had doubts as to whether they would receive sufficient entries to even hold a summer show! Our members, however, had other ideas and pulled out all the stops. Although the number of entries was down on the previous year, the hall was filled with a grand display of flowers at our show on Sunday, 9th August.
