About us

Horsham Horticultural Society was founded in 1945 to promote an interest in horticulture and to encourage gardening in Horsham and the surrounding district.  We hold meetings over the winter months from October to March starting at 7:30. For full details visit our Winter Meetings 2025- 2026 page.

On 10th March we hosted the Inter Society Quiz. We were joined this year by Southwater and Henfield Horticultural Societies. Horsham won the cup this year but it was a very closely run final with Horsham winning by just half a point! Well done to all who took part.


On 25th November we had a very enjoyable talk from Nir Halfon on Biodynamics regarding lunar and planetary cycles influencing plant growth. Nir asked if anyone was interested in joining an experiment for The Biodynamic Association. Please click on link below for more information.
