Evening Visit to Prenplants
Thirty members visited Prenplants on the lovely Summer evening of Tuesday 11th July. There was plenty of opportunity to purchase plants and discuss gardening strategies. Here are a few images of Prenplants staff and Horticultural Society Members.
Quiz Evening.
March 7th was the date for our annual Intersociety quiz night and this year we were hosted by Bolney Horticultural Society at Rawson Hall in Bolney. Teams from Bolney, Horsham, Mannings Heath and Southwater Societies competed for a tiny cup and the thrill of the competition! Rawson Hall is a warm welcoming building with a large events room, a stage and kitchen. The building is used by Bolney residents for many events and is the centre of village life.
Bolney Society had made every effort to ensure the evening was a success, the quiz was expertly presented and there was a splendid half time feast to keep the teams and supporters energised. After a lively evening the scores were totalled and we found that our team of quizzers had won the quiz! Bolney came a close second followed by Southwater and Mannings Heath.
Congratulations to all entrants and a big round of applause for Bolney Horticultural Society who worked so hard tom make the evening a success.
